About the Initiative
“Line of Contact” is a joint initiative of the Baku Press Club and the Yerevan Press Club.
The initiative brings together journalists and experts from Azerbaijan and Armenia who engage in public discussions on relations between the two societies and prospects for reconciliation in the region. As part of the initiative, analytical articles are published, and weekly television programs – “Line of Contact: Topical Issue” and “Line of Contact: Events of the Week” – are broadcast.
Joint Efforts
Special attention in preparing each episode is given to research. The team conducts regular media monitoring and organizes expert focus groups to identify prevailing stereotypes and the issues that matter most to people.
This work has formed the basis for several reference materials, methodological guides, and analytical reports.
